Hi Nobse :)
I just build the package for Ubuntu Intrepid (8.10) and it works without any problems. Thanks for your work :) Regards, \sh (next time again in NBG)
Hi sherman:
The package you build is 32-bit or 64-bit? I'm having problems getting it to work properly on Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid 64-bit. If it is 64-bit, where can I find it? The compile error I got was easy to correct. At the beginning of make you get a conflict between definitions of sigwait() from /usr/include/signal.h and /usr/include/mysql/my_signal.h, the fix was on line 348 define the simbol HAS_SIGNALS (hard code hack). But then it seams that the plugins and modules aren't registered, though I didn't have the time to investigate further as I'm too busy with another project right now. The software runs but most of menus are disabled and the program crashes in many operations like trying to edit a table. You can't actually do nothing with it. Thanks in advance. Joao
File->Page Setup
Error: builtin:wb.page_setup Invalid plugin Invalid plugin wb.print.setup :S
Thank you for this package, installed it on Kubuntu 9.04, works fine, but getting the same error as above on File -> Page Setup.
Hi Norbert!
Thank you very much for packaging mysql-workbench. Please change the libgl1-mesa-dev build-dep to libgl1-mesa-dev | libgl-dev so that user with for example binary nvidia-graphic-driver can use it without editing.
Hi:
I just built 5.2.15 on 32-bit squeeze: not wanting to rely on 5.1; models saved under 5.2 can't be loaded on 5.1. Also, simply installing the 5.2 Ubuntu package yielded some sort of "SSH tunnel" error. It built fine. All packages are in test but for Automake; which I had to downgrade to 1.10. Fortunately, this is not an issue as Automake 1.10 is still in *test*. |
